The sidebar of a blog is an important section that houses your links, archives, calendars, etc. and having control of this can be vital to your blog design. There are a couple methods of managing this area that we will take a look at in this episode; one that WordPress provides through the interface, and one that will require some html knowledge.

One of the first things you will probably want to change about your blog template is the header image. This can be easily accomplished by simply dropping in a new image and possibly editing the style.css file and/or the header.php file. View this screencast for more details.
